Eastern Chamber announces the deadline for nominations for the Al Gosaibi best promising facility award
The Chamber announced that Monday (1 September 2014 ) was the deadline for receiving requests for candidacy to win ' Dr. Ghazi Algosaibi award for best promising ' facility in the fifth edition of the Chamber every two years, the Secretary-General of the Chamber Abdul Rahman bin Abdullah alwabil , who said that the Centre for the development of small and medium enterprises in the Chamber that have seen during the past period, high demand from customers of the Chamber who wish to compete for this prize which the Chamber has been organizing for since 2006 in the context of the numerous services for small and medium-sized enterprises, and to encourage self-employment.. The turnout came in the light of the award's great successes in the past years.
Alwabil said that the award is the first of its kind in the Kingdom aimed at monitoring the distinguished owners of small and medium-sized enterprises, and to motivate them to deliver the best in the world of business and finance, and encouragement to creativity and innovation in this area, and the number of concepts such as quality and saudization initiative and competition among small and medium-sized enterprises as reflected on the national economy in General and the economy of the eastern region in particular. Alwabil said that the prize awarded biennially for the best fifteen promising facility, spread across five sectors (3 of each) and are: (support industries and light construction, maintenance, operation, and food production and livestock, sports activities and entertainment, and business services.). Stressing that the award based on several criteria of assessment in which the preference established on other, most notably (strategic goals, market knowledge, human resources, quality of work product, information systems) and the winners will be honored at the annual reception room planned later in month 6 (September 2014).
